J. Crew Spring/ Summer 2014 at New York Fashion Week

Apr 22, 2014

It’s been truly impressive to witness the evolution of J. Crew as a serious menswear brand in the last five years. Under the skilled hand of Frank Muytjens, the head of J.Crew’s menswear division (who’s also featured in Issue No.5 of Man of the World magazine), their men’s collection has deftly straddled the fine line between “trad prep” and “downtown cool,” making it an instant hit with the young, creative set.

Their new Spring 2014 collection was revealed at New York Fashion week, and gauging by the mix of pitch-perfect casual and formal looks, in addition to some edgier pieces, the J.Crew menswear ascendance isn’t fading anytime soon.
