Simon Miller and The Surf Lodge Collaborate

Apr 22, 2014

Fall 2013 is a key season for Simon Miller. In addition to expanding his offerings to include a few staple knits and cardigans – building on an already solid base of selvedge denim – the Los Angeles based label has partnered up with The Surf Lodge to release a limited run of indigo-dyed beach blankets to be available at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, NY. The blankets, which debuted at a dinner for Andre Saraiva’s “Dream Concerts” exhibition at The Surf Lodge, were made using hand-cut blocks that reference classic surf motifs.  Los Angeles based dye-house Noon Studio handled the hand dyeing of the blankets. The blankets will be available until September.
