Production and Design:
Waterproof vegetable tanned Horween latigo leather sourced from Chicago and solid brass hardware from a small foundry in Europe. Each backpack takes a minimum of one day to construct. All the leather for the bag is hand cut, while the shoulder straps are cut from dies. A custom made machine sands the edges of the bag, and then tradition techniques are used to finish the edges with wax. The bag is assembled using vintage sewing machines, and a set of oils is then used to make the seams water resistant. Designed to beautifully wear and darken over time with minimal care necessary.
