Marinemaster Diver 200m

Mechanical FORTIS watches branded with the name "Marinemaster" were first distributed at the beginning of the 1940s. Thenceforth the Marinemaster was one of the most popular watches from FORTIS. Instead of updating the design of the watch, the Marinemaster always reflected the contemporary design and therefore the watch always looked different.

About the Brand

Walter Vogt founded Fortis in Grenchen, Switzerland in 1912. This company rose to prominence in 1926 when it introduced the world's first automatic timepiece called the Harwood. This new self-winding movement revolutionized the watch market during a time when timepiece manufacturers were focusing on manual wind movements. Fortis has cemented its reputation as a manufacturer of tough and resilient timepieces. Their watches are favorites amongst divers, pilots, and cosmonauts. Fortis is the official wristwatch supplier of the Russian Space program.
